Saturday's pro and semipro dual slalom qualifying was delayed due to a downpour. It was the hardest rain I've seen in 8 years of Sea Otters . The qualifying resumed at one in the afternoon, when the finals had been scheduled. And the rain continued. These photos are all from the delayed qualifying, as I, and most other photographers were safe and dry in the media center during the worst of the rain.

Weir, Graves, Lopes, and some other fast fools in Friday's pro / semipro downhill practice. The course was dry and dusty. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, though. That always makes it tough for racers because, to some extent, the rain voids what they learned in practice.
